  Windows Casino Affiliate Program Changes

Windows Casino has undergone major changes and this page provides Windows Affiliates with information in regards to the changes during the time periods and what you need to do to stay up to date to ensure you are getting credited.

January 2000 to November 2006 - RTG Local Affiliate Program
This period saw the affiliate program located on the Real Time Gaming software platform and it utilized the local affiliate program. In November 2006 affiliates were advised that they would need to transfer all of their affiliate accounts to the Global Affiliate program by registering an account Wager Junction which can be located at the following link: http://affiliate.wagerjunction.com/casino-affiliate-program.html

Affiliate partners needed to either make the link up during the Sign Up process or make the link up if they already had an account in the My Details section. The relevant section looked as follows:

What was needed was the appropriate box needed to be ticked and the Affiliate ID and Password for the old account entered and this would then ensure all of your old links would track to the new global affiliate account.

The reason for the move to the Global Affiliate account was due to the fact that the Global program offered partners better usability.

April 2007 - Current Time Period - Playtech Affiliate Program

We advised Windows affiliates that we were transferring Windows Casino to the Playtech platform from April 2007 and that they would need to amend the links on their sites to ensure that any and all traffic that was sent through to Windows Casino was credited to them.

To do this affiliates needed to register an account at the following link: http://adv.wagerjunction.com/signup.php and make use of the correct link code that is found either in the Banner Settings area or use the code in the Marketing Tools area of the Playtech Affiliate program.
The reason for the move to the Playtech platform was due to the UIGEA bill passing in the United States. Once this bill went through congress all of our partner casinos restricted both play and access to our sites for residents of the USA.

If you currently have a site with Windows links on them and they are old RTG links you need to register an account at the Playtech Affiliate program at this link: http://adv.wagerjunction.com/signup.php

You then need to replace all of your old links with the links that you get in either the Banner Settings page or the Marketing Tools area.

Banners Settings versus Marketing Tools

The difference in the link between these two areas is very simple.

The banner settings page is the default system used by all Playtech clients. It provides you with the relevant link and it allows you to create profiles so that you can monitor multiple campaigns. We have kept this feature in place so that our partners can utilize these features.

The Marketing Tools page came about because we at WJ did not like the fact that affiliate partners had to host the banners themselves and we created this so that we hosted all of the creative and provided you with the relevant code to ensure that this tracked back to your affiliate account.
